October Song

"October Song" is a documentary film that takes place in a nursing home in Skopje, where the residents' everyday lives are intertwined with their memories and desires. The film begins with backstage shots from the courtyard, which gradually introduce us to the space and its inhabitants. The central characters are the three residents – Botka, Milica and Snezana – through whose personal stories their lives are revealed, the reasons that brought them there and the way they experience aging. Although their destinies are different, they share a quiet melancholy and the need for closeness. The film simultaneously depicts their daily routine and the conditions in the home, emphasizing human dignity and the desire for family and home.
