About Us
ACROSS THE LAKE Festival of Balkan and Mediterranean film
Last years edition of the "Across the Lake film festival", the public and the audience called it a discovery of the Balkans and the Mediterranean. This year our ambition is to establish ourselves on the map of cultural events in Macedonia as one of the most important summer festival. In addition, the echo in the Balkans and the Mediterranean encourages us to turn Dojran into the number one cultural and tourist destination in this part of the world. We are convinced that with the support of the Municipality of Dojran these intentions of ours will turn into a real movie fairy tale.
And this festival program, like last years, will be a joint conceptual, organizational and financial initiative of the city of Dojran and our festival, which in principle is a guarantee for the success, growth and development of Dojran as a unique cinematic, artistic, cultural and touristic experience. Ran with this program, which we will turn into a festival zone. Of course, we remain on the area of the city amphitheater and the childrens playground as already acquired and recognized film oases.

MEMBERS:
– DONNA BOJADZI was born in 1995 in Strumica, finished high school and the Faculty of Information Sciences in Skopje. Works on developing digital platforms for digital systems.
– IGOR VASILEV NOVOGRADSKA was born in 1978 in Skopje. He studied at the Faculty of Music. He is a composer of contemporary music and the author of more than fifty musical scores for film, television and theater.
– ROBERT VELJANOVSKI, M.SC. was born in 1967 in Skopje, where he finished high school. He graduated and received his master’s degree at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, at the Department of Dramatic Actors. He is a full professor of acting at the “Europa Prima” University in Skopje.
– NEBOJSA JOVANOVIĆ was born in 1980 in Skopje, where he finished secondary education. He graduated in directing for film and television at the “Europa Prima” university in Skopje.
– VESNA KUSLESKA was born in 1983 in Kichevo, where she completed secondary education. He graduated in dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, and also studied at the Film Academy in Ohrid.
– DEJAN MILOSEVSKI was born in 1976 in Skopje, where he completed his secondary education. Proven film and television producer.
– MILE NIČEVSKI was born in 1976 in Gevgelija, where he completed secondary education. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje.
– ALEKSANDAR RUSYAKOV was born in 1977 in Veles. He studies at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, at the Faculty of Philology. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, directing for film and television, in the class of professor Stole Popov.
– KRSTE SEKULOVSKI was born in 1978 in Strumica, where he finished high school. He studied at the Economic University in Sofia, where he graduated in Business Marketing.
– IGOR SOKOLOVSKI, MA, director, producer, television producer. He was born in 1974 in Skopje, where he completed secondary education. He graduated and graduated from the University of Varna, Bulgaria, in film and television directing studies.
– OLIVER TIMKOVSKI was born in 1983 in Skopje, where he completed secondary education. He studied graphic design at the Academy of Graphic Arts at the University of Florence, Italy.
– PETAR TRAJKOV was born in 1976 in Strumica. He finishes high school in his hometown, and in Skopje he graduates from the Faculty of Law. He received his master’s degree at the “Goce Delchev” University in Shtip, at the Faculty of Law.
